In this photo at the 8th meeting of the Tripartite commission I am working with officials from the governments of Pakistan and Afghanistan to agree upon a press release to describe what took place at the meeting. I had no idea this would be the most difficult part of the meeting! We spent about an hour together and then took negotiations to the larger body.
